Nonrenewable Resources … Finite?

The article by Brian Lee Crowley, “Nonrenewable resources: are they really finite?” (May 28), is an article of faith: faith in the market.

Well, faith is sometimes misplaced. We each believe what we choose to believe, and I believe that the market is not going to ensure our survival as a species.

Along with Kalle Lasn, I believe it’s time for a paradigm shift. (Search for adbusters paradigm shift on Google.) Without that shift in perspective, the environment we so depend on to survive and thrive is going to be fouled up beyond all recognition. By the market.
